Registration for the Responsible Tourism Development Academy (RTDA)

Online and In-person Programs.

 

Registration Process & Payment

Individual Registration for Online & In-Person Programs

Upon submission of your registration and payment of the applicable session rate as advertised on the RTDA website, you will be sent an email confirming receipt of your registration to the address indicated on your registration. 

Your registration will only be complete when you receive this confirmation and when all appropriate registration and/or other required fees have been received. 

NOTE: A 30% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT APPLIES TO ALL RTDA COURSES, SESSIONS, MODULES, AND/OR EVENTS

IF CANCELLED UP AND UNTIL 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED SESSION DATE/TIME.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, BOOKINGS CANCELLED WITHIN THE 7DAY PERIOD, AS STIPULATED ABOVE, ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.   

In the event of any changes to, or cancellation of training sessions, programs, and/or modules including changes to the published programme, session time/s, venue, or any other subsequent amendments by RTDA, participants will be advised in advance via email with details of any changes and offered a full refund or participation in an alternative online training sessions, programs, and/or modules equal to the same value. These changes will also be published on www.RTD.academy.

RTDA and/or WTACH accepts no liability for any expenses incurred by delegates in the case of event changes or cancellation. 

It is the participants responsibility to acquaint themselves and comply with any prevailing information and/or requirements of RTDA sessions and/or modules as advised or stipulated by the session facilitator hosting the event.

By registering for an RTDA session, module or event, you are providing your consent (and that of any assistant or colleague, if another address has been provided) that we may email you with information relevant to your participation. 

In addition, you acknowledge and accept that your name, position title and organisation will be visible in official listings of delegates if required.

You acknowledge and agree to appear in photographs and video footage taken by the RTDA for use in/on any media platforms we may choose to promote and/or market RTDA programs, session, modules, or any other related material prior to or post any RTDA events. Note: Some of this content might be published and used in communications and reports in relation to RTDA and/or WTACH activities.

If you participate verbally in any spoken interviews or debates, you agree to share any intellectual property contained therein under a Creative Commons licence by attribution.

We may in turn invite you to other RTDA training sessions, events, and/or programmes that may be of interest to you or require your specific expertise, knowledge and/or opinion.

The use of your email contact and other relevant personal information will, therefore, be kept on file with your prior consent and approval and added to the WTACH Newsletter database. Note: You can unsubscribe to the WTACH Newsletter database at any time.

Any registrations received may be revoked by RTDA for due cause, and its decision will be final in this matter. 

The Responsible Tourism Development Academy (RTDA) is an initiative of the World Tourism Association for Culture and Heritage. (WTACH.org)

RTDA acts independently of WTACH and is a separately managed body. WTACH, therefore, carries no responsibility and/or liability relating to any or all of the RTDA programs, activities, actions, or communications.


Group Online & In-Person Program Events

Upon confirmation of the event/programme 50% of the total fee must be paid in full.

Once confirmed, official confirmation and any associated documentation will be forward via email to the organisation representative/s responsible for hosting the event.

Unless otherwise agreed, the remainder of the program plus and any additional costs/expenses associated with the delivery of the event such as but not limited to: Travel Costs, Venue Hire, Technical Support, External Contractors etc. must be received no less than 60 days prior to the event date.

NOTE: A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT APPLIES TO ALL CONTRACTED RTDA ONLINE & IN-PERSON COURSES, SESSIONS, MODULES, AND/OR EVENTS

CANCELLED UP AND UNTIL 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED EVENT DATE/TIME.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED OR AGREED, COURSES, SESSIONS, MODULES, AND/OR EVENTS CANCELLED WITHIN THE 60 DAY PERIOD,

ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.   

Any additional costs incurred in the development and/or planned execution of COURSES, SESSIONS, MODULES, AND/OR EVENTS such as but not limited to: Travel Costs, Venue Hire, Technical Support, External Contractors etc. Will be charged in addition to any programs costs as outlined above.

These changes will also published on www.RTD.academy if required
